How do I configure Outlook?

You can configure Outlook to access your email account with either POP3 or IMAP.

To do so you should set the inbound and outbound mail servers as mail.yourdomain (ie mail.example.com).

You should tick the box entitled "My SMTP Server Requires Authentication" and use the same login details as for your INBOX

If you experience problems sending email (Not in my RCPTHOSTS) it is because you have not yet ticked the above box "SMTP Authentication"

If you are experiencing problems routing email through port 25 because your ISP is filtering this traffic or your IP address is caught in a Spamhaus xBL then please try SMTP via port 587 instead.

This is configured under Server Settings in your email client

A step by step guide can be viewed in our online tutorials
